Mill Operator

We are looking for a Mill Operator to join our team in Turlock, CA. In this role, you will ensure that all processes and procedures are followed in accordance with applicable policies (ISO, GMP, etc.) in order to successfully execute on the Supervisor's mill plan.  

What you’ll do:

• Ensures that raw materials being milled are correct and follows production supervisor's plan and sterilizer lead. 
• Ensures that all batches produced fall within control limits for Agtron, moisture, and Agglom; will make adjustments as necessary with production supervisor's help as needed.
• Ensures that raw materials are stored in the proper location in the warehouse.
• Replaces Williams mill, mill screen, Smico box screens as needed.
• Repairs Smico box screens, repairs felt on screens and in Smico box as needed.
• Notifies production supervisor of needed repairs in mill area.
• Accurately maintains all movements using "RF" scanning system.
• Accurately maintains all reports and paperwork associated with the position.
• Conducts safety check of assigned forklift on a daily basis and reports all problems for repair.
• Ensures that work area is maintained in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

About Sensient Agricultural Ingredients: 
Sensient Agricultural Ingredients is one of the largest producers and distributors in the world of dehydrated onion and garlic products as well as chili powder, paprika, chili pepper and dehydrated vegetables such as parsley, celery, and spinach. The salary range for this position is $25.15 USD per hour. Pay within the range is based on several factors, which may include, but are not limited to, education, work experience, specialized training, and labor market conditions.
