Packaging Operator - 2nd shift

We are looking for an Sr. Innovation Scientist I to join our team. The Application Scientist will provide technical assistance to internal and external customers through excipient formulation, custom blending, prototyping, and small scale and commercial trial batches. 

What you’ll do:

• Project supervision for the development of new products and/or technology transfer.
• Lead technical discussion with customers and account managers. 
• Design the best color solution based on customers desired target markets and associated regulatory requirements. 
• Responsible for technical (R&D) support activities on innovation projects. Test colors to determine suitable solutions for customer applications.
• Coordinate communications between the Operations, Sensient’s Regulatory & Quality Departments in order to share support to customer. 
• Travel to affiliates research and manufacturing sites to get knowledge on support the use of Sensient products.
• Experience in innovation and project management 

What you’ll bring:

• Bachelor's degree in general science or food science or equivalent education.  A minimum of seven years of experience in the industry and management experience preferred. 
• Leads projects where product applications are required to offer color solutions to food industry customers.
• An enthusiastic, creative, and team centered approach to creating an amazing office environment. 
• English working proficiency 80%.
