
Sales Account Manager, Thailand

Sensient Technologies (Thailand) Ltd. is located in downtown Bangkok. We offer you a pleasant office environment, a friendly working atmosphere and a bright career opportunity. In your role, you will develop, implement and execute the Sensient sales activities in order to grow and develop business opportunities in Thailand. You will be able to search for and obtain new customer accounts as well as maintaining and growing existing business for achieving sales objectives.
You will enhance personal effectiveness and sharpen your interpersonal skills by coordinating strategically sales projects with other members of the company to bring added value to the customers. You will build partnership with key customer decision makers to develop account-specific strategies, execute sales plans, annual goals and initiatives in support of the company’s strategy and objectives.
What you'll do:
- You will be responsible for sales targets and business development to ensure sustainable growth, with timely follow-up on sales targets. You will develop sales plans and forecasts to support the company’s strategy and objectives.
- You will provide superior sales and relevant marketing services to customers, focusing on color and flavor product lines for beverage key accounts. You will also develop and implement a customer strategy for each major customer related to pricing, growth, and new products.
- You will interact with colleagues and get to work cross functionally with the Technical Team, Marketing, Customer Service, and Operations to reach sales goals. You will also work with the Product Development Team to identify customer needs and new product opportunities.
- You will analyze internal and external data with regard to sales, costs, markets, new business development, and customers, establishing a sales budget for assigned clients and making sales proposals.
- You will follow up on samples submitted and technical assistance with support of the Technical Team. You will demonstrate your presentation expertise by conducting product presentations to develop the business area.
- You will coordinate procurement of relevant Sensient products to ensure their availability and monitor timeliness of shipments, goods, samples and invoices.
What you'll bring:
- Ideally, you hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in food science, chemistry, or applied sciences.
- We are looking for someone with at least 5 years of professional experience in sales.
- Result driven mindset, interpersonal skills, and people management skills.
- Abilities and experience in managing distributors would be an advantage to you in this role.
