Planner

Sensient Technologies (Thailand) Ltd. is located in downtown Bangkok.  We offer you a pleasant office environment, a friendly working atmosphere and a bright career opportunity. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and effective management of the company's supply chain. You will oversee the raw material and finished product stock management, master production schedule, as well as developing an improved forecasting and MRP process for the company to meet customer deadlines.

What you'll be doing

• Forecast consistently with demands.  Determine and monitor stock levels and replenishment quantities to achieve targeted availability while optimizing stock levels and transportation costs, and participate in inventory reduction initiatives.
• Set up MRP parameters according to life cycle product and manage MRP parameter maintenance on intermediate and finished products as well as work with the master production and sales schedule to be aligned with sales forecast planning and develop an MRP linked to it.
• Review, on a daily basis, JD Edwards (JDE) generated MRP messages for production and procurement.
• Coordinate with concerned parties for production plans and movement of raw materials, and issue purchase requisitions to meet production schedule and hold daily Open Order Meetings to review open orders with Customer Service.
• Follow-up and expedite deliveries of open work orders.  Update the team and concerned parties on the status.
• Communicates with internal and external customers, Production, Shipping, QC, and Customer Service.  Maintain excellent working relationships with all personnel inside and outside of Sensient Thailand.
• Constantly seek improved ways and methods to better service customers, external and internal. Support improvement projects.

What you'll bring

• Ideally, you hold a BBA in logistics and supply chain management or engineering
• We are looking for someone with at least 5 years of professional experience in related business
• Proficiency in JDE, MRP tools, and forecasting software is a plus
• Abilities and experience in planning production and materials
• Organizational skills, problem solving skills and communication skills
