Product Manager - Savory Flavors

We are looking for a Product Manger to join our team and support the Savory Flavors & Ingredients business in North America.  This key leadership role will oversee the comprehensive product strategy, encompassing market and segment analysis, competitive insights, pricing strategies, go-to-market planning, and product differentiation. Working cross-functionally across the organization, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and driving Sensient’s success roadmap.

What you will do:

• Develop deep product knowledge, define growth strategies, and support S&OP processes, new item introduction, and SKU optimization.
• Work with leadership to set targets, guide pricing strategies, and collaborate with Finance and Operations to streamline processes.
• Lead portfolio management, act as the product expert for the Sales Team, and collaborate on market trends with global product managers.
• Collaborate with Sales, Innovation, Marketing, and R&D to enhance products, drive customer satisfaction, and ensure successful product launches.
• Monitor market and competitive landscape, track portfolio performance, and identify strengths and gaps in products and processes.
• Assess new product potential, analyze post-launch performance, and refine strategies based on market feedback.

What you will bring:

• 5+ years in a technical product management role, preferably within the food or flavor industry, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science or Engineering (MBA preferred).
• Strong ability to assess business opportunities, prioritize projects, and navigate ambiguity with strategic decision-making.
• Detail-oriented with a deep understanding of technical aspects; comfortable discussing complex details.
• Proven ability to lead, collaborate across a matrixed organization, and provide strategic support to business leaders.
• Self-starter with a decisive, action-driven approach; strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.

The salary range for this position is $107,000-$179,000 USD.  Pay within the range is based on several factors, which may include, but are not limited to, education, work experience, specialized training, and labor market conditions.  In addition to salary, Sensient is proud to offer a comprehensive and competitive benefits program to support the holistic well-being of our employees and their families.  This position is also eligible for performance-based incentive pay.
