Financial Accountant

In this position, you will be responsible for Financial Accounts management, which is an outward facing finance role. You are expected to contribute to the presence of a comprehensive and appropriate system of internal financial controls that safeguard the business and its assets. 

What you’ll do:

• Manage Statutory accounts submission to Companies House for four UK companies 
• Work with external tax consultant and corporate tax management team to manage all aspect of Tax
• Convene with internal and external auditors to ensure audit requests are compiled and supported
• Manage Month End reconciliation process for documents submitted in OneStream
• Understand and validate bank balances and support payment processes, and provide detail where applicable to Corporate treasury team

What you’ll bring:

• Accountancy Qualification (minimum ACA or ACCA), ideally with time spent in both Tax and Audit
• Minimum three years post qualification experience
• Good understanding and experience of Corporation Tax, VAT, Income Tax and statutory reporting
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral are necessary, as well as attention to detail
• Good Excel skills are required and experience of JDE ERP system or equivalent is desirable
